Research summary
My research interests include palaeoentomology (insects in archaeology and Quaternary science), climate change, environmental change, statistics, GIS and computer applications in archaeology/environmental science, international research infrastructure and database development. Please see the research page for more details, and the publications page for some of the results.
I am currently running the Strategic Environmental Archaeology Database (SEAD) project, funded by the Swedish Research Council and Umeå University. The project is based at the Environmental Archaeology Lab in close collaboration with HUMlab in Umeå, the Laboratory for Ceramic Research and National laboratory for wood anatomy and dendrochronology in Lund.
